This is a wonderful take on the Little Mermaid that we all grew up with. The story is based in the roots of the curse that was caused by the Little Mermaid choosing to not kill her prince. I loved how you got sprinkles of mermaid lore and the author did a great job of describing the way the mermaids interact with the human world and thought it was quite comical how they "control" their legs when they are around humans. This is a great start to this series and i looking forward to more. Thanks to Month9books for letting me read and review.
