Infinity Countdown: Champions #1

So. Huh. I’m actually really curious to see how this one ends up fitting in with the rest of the Infinity War and its countdown. So far most of the countdowns have focused on the characters that will be involved or ones holding the infinity stones. That actually wasn’t the case here, as I believe none of the Champions are holding a stone.
It does look like they’re setting up another stage of the Infinity War itself, which sort of makes sense. So far we’ve seen mostly the protagonists on the move, with the exception of the Raptors in Darkhawk’s series. So with this issue we have a slightly better idea of who may be involved. I think. I guess we’ll have to see how it all plays out, huh? I do hope this means we’ll be seeing more of the Nova Corps (hopefully in the ‘not getting destroyed’ sense).
