I really liked this book. It was a very sweet romance between two people who could not imagine the other one being interested in them. They had history. They grew up in the same small two, but their experiences in this small two were quite different. Rachel's family built the town of Redemption (literally). They had money and were not afraid to spend it. Logan was the son of the town drunk, who worked hard and established himself as a hometown sports hero. Both return to Redemption many years later. Logan re-established his home there after retiring from the NFL and Rachel is trying to properly honor her grandmother's memory. The two are forced to work together and those latent feelings bubble up.
I loved the tension and the tenderness and just enjoyed the story overall. It was light and fun, with just enough drama to keep it interesting. Logan's character was quite amusing and I admired Rachel for being such a strong and independent woman. Fun read.
