A fun novel with a quirky narrative by a new to me author.

Bernadette Locke thinks the young woman she's entrusted with the care of her beloved Maltese called Smuckers is a dog whisperer. Only, Vicky isn't. When the old lady dies, Vicky's shocked to find out the white fluffy pooch has inherited a 51% controlling stake in Locke Worldwide, a billion-dollar business empire. The CEO, Henry Locke and his brother are furious and hatch a plan to get rid of Smuckers and Vicky, who is responsible for the dog's voting rights. However, Vicky feels out of her depth in a situation which increases the chance of her past getting exposed. A risk she can't afford to take despite her feelings for the man ranked in New Yorks's top ten most eligible bachelor list.

Humorous and sexy, the story is an off-beat tale of how can love conquers all if you trust your instincts. Vicky and Henry discover secrets from their past, but it's their strong feelings for each other which leads to their happy ending. With a satisfying ending, Most Eligible Millionaire is a quick and entertaining read.
