My Thoughts:
At the end of Let Love Stay I wanted to bash the heroines head against the wall. I could not believe that she pushed the hero away in the manner that she did. Let Love Stay picks up right after the ending of Let Love In (Book #1). I definitely recommend you read Let Love In before you read Let Love Stay. Now with that said let me get to my review.

I was heartbroken for Reid at the end of book one. I seriously wanted to pull him out of the book and give him a big ole' hug and keep him in my pocket. I fell hard for his character in LLI and by the end of LLS I was totally madly in LOVE with his character. I loved watching his character grow. He stepped up in every way and took care of business. This boy had me bawling my eyes out for him. There was so many emotional moments where Reid is put through the ringer in this book. His growth in this book is very evident and I loved watching every moment of it. I adored the way he loved Maddy. Sometimes I didn't think she deserved that adoration but I get it, she's his soul mate and up until the ending of LLI I thought Maddy was pretty awesome. Readers you will fall for this hero. He'll steal your heart.

As for Maddy, I wasn't sure how I would feel about her in this book. After the way she shit on Reid at the end of book one, I wasn't sure she even deserved him anymore. I thought she was going to stay on her high horse throughout the whole book but surprisingly and thankfully her character acknowledged and realized what she said was pretty crap-tastic! Maddy still stumbled a bit in this book and slunk back to her old ways but overall I liked her in this book. She especially won brownie points for being there for Reid and having his back when he was dealing with his mom.

I love the secondary characters in both LLI and LLS. Momma C was my favorite. I loved when she called Maddy out on her behavior. I was nodding my head and cheering momma C on when she had her heart to heart with Maddy. Everyone should have a momma C in their lives. I love Jack, Cammie, Mel, Bryan, Logan, Kati and even Jay. I love how the friendships from these secondary characters play a role in Reid and Maddy's love story. How everyone is there for each other. I totally want to be a part of this group. This book gave me the perfect ending for Reid and Maddy's story. It's a perfect mixture of romance, angst, laughter, friendship and lots of smexy good times.

I definitely recommend this book and series. I love Melissa's writing and can't wait for the next book, which will be Mel and Bryan's story. I hope she ends up doing a book for each of the secondary characters.
