Well, that was screwed up. Seven Sons is the the beginning of Juliette's revenge. She grew up within a motorcycle club that her father was the head of. Then he was betrayed. Dornan Ross killed her father after he and his sons brutally raped her. Juliette was sneaked out of the hospital where she was thought to have died, but six years later she's returning to the club as Sammi. She's got a new name and a new face thanks to plastic surgery, so she can get close to the man who took everything from her. Then she's going to take out each of his sons and save Dornan for last.

Seven Sons really surprised me. I knew it was going to be dark, but I did not expect that. The author didn't shy away from any of the details. The flashbacks of what Dornan and his sons did to Juliette really made me uncomfortable. It was so awful. But she's not broken. She was, but she put herself back together as she plotted her revenge. She's pretending to be Dornan's latest plaything, and I have no idea how she can put up with it!

A lot happens within the very few pages of Seven Sons. It moves incredibly fast, but I felt like it worked since "Sammi" is way in over her head and just thrust into this plan she's devised without all of the details in place. She's just making it up as she goes, and so far she's on track. One son down, six and a father to go.
