I loved this the first time I read it. Second time through eight years later and it's lost a little shine. I liked both the characters and I liked the backstory between them but there's not really all that much depth to this. For all they have history though they never really talk about their problems. They just keep putting it off which was annoying. The romance was sweet, if a little over the top but about what you expect from a romance novel. The plot moved at a good pace and it was well written. Perfect if you're after a sweet read with a dash of angst. 3.5 stars, rounded up to 4.
