It's hard to say a hot cop willing to bang his lady against a wall is a cute story, but this one was. There was just something about Aaron and Marcy that had that "aww" factor, even when they were getting dirty in the janitor's closet.

Marcy had pretty much sworn off men, after her boyfriend left her pregnant and alone while in college. Now the center of her universe is her three year old daughter. But things take a turn for Marcy at her good friend's engagement party, when a few shots, a drunken dance and one angry best friend's brother has her engaging activity not normally known to this elementary school teacher. Aaron Robinson has had a thing for Marcy since she was seventeen. Back then, he thought their five year age difference was too much. But now he's decided it's time to step up and go after what he wants....Marcy, no matter what.

This was a really quick read, but in Katee Roberts style, her uniformed men have dirty mouths and don't quit when they set their sights on a woman. Despite what Marcy may have been saying out loud, Aaron seemed to be able to read her and know when he could push. She fought their relationship at first, with the exception of the hot sex...that she didn't have an issue with, but I could appreciate putting the happiness of her daughter in front of her own. They worked through their commitment issue pretty quickly and were able to find their HEA.

Definitely one of read if you're looking for something hot and only have an hour or so to read it.
