The Witch of Duva by Leigh Bardugo

The Witch of Duva (Grishaverse, #0.5)

by Leigh Bardugo

There was a time when the woods near Duva ate girls…or so the story goes. But it's just possible that the danger may be a little bit closer to home. This story is a companion folk tale to Leigh Bardugo's debut novel, Shadow and Bone.

This is definitely a dark fable - kind of intriguing but also horrifying. I like the way [a:Leigh Bardugo|4575289|Leigh Bardugo|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/authors/1325565916p2/4575289.jpg] tells it with such an old world style.
