Abby Jackson is a frustrated housewife.  While she loves her husband she lacks the excitement and fun she had in the beginning of her relationship with her husband.  She seems to long for more than either Jay wants to provide or does not want to explain it to him.

Jay Jackson is Abby’s husband.  I wish we got to see the beginning of the story from his perspective.  We get a better look at him toward the end of the story.  However, toward the end of the story makes you realize that Jay paid more attention to Abby than Abby realized.

The connection between Jay and Abby is strong and intense.  Their relationship is like any long term relationship, it has its ups and downs.  The biggest issue is that Abby does not come forward and tell Jay she is unhappy.  While the sex is scorching, I still had a hard time with how easy Abby went along with the possibility of cheating on her husband.

I found this book well written with a unique plot. The story comes across as more of a fantasy that what would happen in reality. The main characters and the secondary characters were fascinating.  This book at only 64 pages had a well written beginning, middle and ending.   Overall, this was a very captivating book and I hope to see these characters again in the future. This book was reviewed by a member of the review staff at Cocktails and Books.
