I picked this up not because everyone was raving about it but because what little I could garner of the premise from the synopsis was intriguing.

It did not disappoint. I have a problem with a certain trope I encountered towards the end but as long as it's not elevated to a higher status in the story then all is well.

I will definitely be reading the next one in the series soon.
