Isabel Morton wants to sing and runs away from her potential job as a governess to find that the offer of a job singing comes with a lot of demands on her and will ruin her reputation, she is rescued by William Balfour and then the two of them have to marry. Then they have to find places for each other in their hearts.

Found it okay, not stellar.
