Bomb is a brief glimpse into a day in the life of Spencer. We first met Spencer in Tragic, though we don't really get to know him until Manic. By the end of Panic we want to know more about both him and Ford. Well, Ford got his story told, and now it is Spencer's turn.

The thing I like most about this series as a whole is that the next book leaves very little gap between it and the one before it. Bomb picks up just a few weeks after the end of Taut (Ford's book). We get to see the guys working together on a new job, something that seems to only affect Spencer, but I have a feeling it will turn into something bigger.

I really enjoyed the way Bomb was written - it took place in current timeline, but had some flashbacks so we still got to see how Spencer and Veronica 'Ronnie' met. It is fun to be in Spencer's head as he "stalks his prey"' so to speak. He is definitely one of those guys that once he sees something he wants, he gets it. But he makes it seem like the other person's idea. Or at least doesn't force the issue. If he really isn't wanted, he backs off, for now.

Bomb certainly sets the scene for Guns, and I am very excited to see how everything plays out with the trial, the boys, the new season of the show, and whatever else Huss decides to throw our way. I've enjoyed every minute I've had with these books and am eagerly anticipating my next date with the guys - and Spencer!
