The book has a great hook. It will keep you reading despite your feeling about the lifestyle that Christian Grey has chosen to live. The worst part about the book is the writing or stylistic choices of the author. I understand that Anastasia is a young woman without much experience in the world, however, she is well read as a communications and/or english major. At least that is the illusion the author seems to want to give the reader with her multiple references to [b:Tess of the D'Urbervilles|32261|Tess of the D'Urbervilles |Thomas Hardy|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1311647517s/32261.jpg|3331021]. When she's shocked/amazed/upset about anything she thinks/says the two same phrases over and over again (Holy Sh** and Holy F***). After awhile it was hard to be shocked/amazed/upset about anything Anastasia was feeling because it was the same thoughts over and over again.
