She got what she wished for…hanky, spanky and all.

What happens when you get what you wish for…and it’s not all it’s cracked up to be? Hanky Spanky Christmas gives us a very real picture of what happens when the reality of the kinky stuff doesn’t match up to how you pictured it. I admit, I have read and enjoyed some very steamy and kinky BDSM books. Yes, I have sat back and thought, "hmmm…I wonder if I would like something like this?" Well, in this story our heroine Darcy, finds herself in a BDSM club witnessing some very kinky play. Feeling extremely turned on, she goes to the bar to get a drink and finds her neighbour (who she has drunk kissed 3 times) behind the bar. With her thoughts on finding her own kinky play, she asks Mitch for a "play" date.

Mitch can’t believe his eyes when his sexy neighbour turns up at his work. Being the good man that he is, he turns down her invitation to play and tells her to come back to him, if she wants to "play" when she’s sober. Imagine his surprise when she does. Mitch is not convinced that Darcy really knows what she wants, but he’s willing to “play” with her because he wants to get his hands on Darcy.

The play date arrives and the scene is set.

Ok…I’m going to stop here. There is no way I can tell you what happens next because it will spoil it. I will say this, I absolutely loved how it played out.

Hanky Spanky Christmas was a great Christmas novella with a touch of kink and a barrel of laughs. I loved that it was set on the Gold Coast (Queensland) which is an hours drive from my place. The characters were funny, the storyline was short but original and left me with a big smile on my face. I definitely recommend checking it out.
