Short and sweet!

I can't say that I loved it, but I did find this read very enjoyable! I'm a lover of any paranormal read and this was just the amount I needed, even if it was a bit shorter than my normal reads.

Let's start with the characters:

Isabelle Connelly, the beautiful artist who wants nothing more than her father's approval for EVERYTHING. Being the daughter of the pack leader comes with certain obligations, taking over the pack when her dad passes on, forgetting about her dreams and ambitions, and (here's the big one) not even crossing that line of love. Even if it's her mate! No matter what, she always puts her family first.

And that's until Jack MacGrath came along, the old lone wolf. Everyday he does what he can to stay alive, all the riches in the world, but he needs his mate to survive. And Isabelle is the one for him, I bet you're wondering what the issue is. Welllllll, he just happens to be a part of the rival pack and that's a big no to the Connelly Clan.

The banter between them especially in the beginning is hilarious. There's nothing like a bidding war, when it comes to the awesome artwork of Isabelle Connelly. It just fueled that attraction for the both of them. I loved Isabelle's artwork, it was her world that only a couple people knew of, despite the fact that her father didn't want her to pursue it, she still did. And she has so much to show for it, even if the artist remains a mystery to the rest of the world! Even Jack has fallen in love with her work.

I thought this was a pretty balanced book. I liked the romance, a little bit of angst, family issues (who doesn't have them); it all flowed well and it made it to be a good page turner. Like I said before, this book was short and sweet.
