The Tea Dragon Tapestry by Katie O'Neill

The Tea Dragon Tapestry

by Katie O'Neill

Join Greta and Minette once more for the heartwarming
conclusion of the award-winning Tea Dragon
series!

Over a year since being entrusted
with Ginseng's care, Greta still can't chase away the cloud of mourning that
hangs over the timid Tea Dragon. As she struggles to create something
spectacular enough to impress a master blacksmith in search of an apprentice,
she questions the true meaning of crafting, and the true meaning of caring for
someone in grief. Meanwhile, Minette receives a surprise package from the
monastery where she was once training to be a prophetess. Thrown into confusion
about her path in life, the shy and reserved Minette finds that the more she
opens her heart to others, the more clearly she can see what was always
inside.

Told with the same care and charm as
the previous installments of the Tea Dragon series, The Tea Dragon Tapestry
welcomes old friends and new into a heartfelt story of purpose, love, and
growth.

Thank you to #Netgalley and #OniPress for allowing me to read an ARC of this beautiful book.

The wonderful Katie O'Neill has once again provided a beautiful graphic novel that feels like a warm, soft embrace.

I don't think I can ever truly explain how much I love this series, it's so feel-good, the colours are just beautiful and it really does make you think about the magic around us!

The third instalment in the Tea Dragons deals with a sensitive topic; grief. But it does it in such a way that it feels healing and not at all patronising!

The found families storyline is dear to my heart, and its so wonderful to see a diverse and intersectional cast of characters portrayed in a wholesome light.

Katie's style is so impressive; the soft colours, the landscape drawings, I just wish I could display each page in my room! Futhermore, the thoought she puts into the tea-dragon world and folklore around the tea dragons makes my heart ache for more.

5/5 Stars as I really can't fault this short, feel-good graphic novel about Tea Dragons and their families 3
