This is a nice little book about [a:C.S. Lewis|1069006|C.S. Lewis|http://photo.goodreads.com/authors/1211981595p2/1069006.jpg]. The first half is a brief biography, which I found interesting as it has offers insights into how Lewis' life played into, not only his writing but his theology and world view as well.

The only problem with offering those bits of perspective and quotes from Lewis' work into the biography section, is that when it gets to the second half of the book which is examining Lewis' point of view on all manner of things from humor to heaven, a lot of it has already been said. Some of it was new information or more quotes to substantiate the point, but also a lot of it I was bored. Because it was the second time around, and I got it quite clearly and enjoyed it the first time.

Still, the whole book is so short, and says a great deal in very little space, that I can't complain too loudly.
