After having read Chasing Sam (Vegas Mates 1) I could not wait to see what else Krystal had in store for her readers so when Saving Margaret came out I knew I had to get my hands on a copy. Now I must I say that I absolutely enjoyed this book. This book can be read as a stand-alone, however it would be best to read the series in order as it will make it easier to follow the whole adventure that this series will be definitely be providing.
Saving Margaret provided answers to questions that had been raised in part one of the series. It provided me with a better understanding of Renata Damakis behavior, although this still did not ender to me. I just can’t fathom how a mother could treat her children that way.
This book as well as provides quite a unique take on werewolves as well as other shifters. It was quite entertaining to read about romance between a werewolf and a bear-shifter.
Saving Margaret has the right mix of romance, action and suspense. It pulled me in from the first page and I just could not wait to find out what was going to happen next. I was so tempted to cheat by skipping chapters just to see what was coming next, but I am so glad I didn’t as it made the ending more worthwhile. There were quite a few twists and some unexpected occurrences. My first reaction was OMG, tell me this isn’t so.
If you had never read one of Krystal’s books my advice to you is to start with this awesome series, you will not regret it.
