I really enjoy this series and Joss and Braden made a very passionate couple. It was nice to have the extra side story.

We need to remember that Joss has a hard time getting close to people after losing her parents and baby sister in a car accident. She fears getting close to anyone again and losing them. Braden was able to push past her barriers, but as they begin their married life, they hit their first major hurdle. They almost lose everything since they can't talk it out, leaving both to fear the other has decided to end the relationship.
