The fifth book, Never Tease a Siamese, wraps up the original Leigh Koslow series. A long time client of the Leigh's father has died leaving millions of dollars to her cats and anonymous child and her son is not happy. When the clinic starts getting death threats Leigh worries that someone thinks her father knows who the heir is and so she sets out to clear up the matter once and for all.

The last book in the original series is not quite as strong as the others. The plot was fine, if a bit convoluted but it lacked the inclusion of all the normal characters. There were only brief appearances of the rest of the fam including Randall, Frances and Cara. I did like that Adith Rhodis (the neighbour from the first book who's married to Bud) made an appearance but I missed catching up with everyone else. Even Warren and Maura were less prominent than usual which sucked. Still it was a decent read and engaging enough. 3.5 stars, rounded up to 4.
