• Rachel had recently relocated from the west coast to the east coast. She was working hard to adjust to her new home, new job, and suddenly be the mom of a teenaged boy. Romance was the last thing on her mind.
• Jason was the oldest of the Fairchild clan, and due to his position in the family, had assumed the head role of the family company. He was hyper focused on the business as he tried to evade his sister-in-laws' efforts to find him a match.
What?
Inclement weather, a slippery road, and fate brought them together. There was an instant attraction, and it stirred the latent want buried deep inside both Jason and Rachel. But much to Rachel's dismay, she discovered that Jason was that Jason, the head of the company she worked for, and the two of them had to decide if an office romance was a risk they wanted to take.
The first decent guy to ask her out in forever just had to come with serious strings.
Why?
I am a solid fan of this series, and was really excited when I heard we were getting another book. The final Fairchild brother was a great choice for the hero. I adore the dynamic in this family, and I like that we can get those billionaire romance touches with such nice, down to earth guys.
Jason, like his brothers, has a wonderful sense of family. I liked this about the Fairchild men, and see it even more in Jason than I had in Glenn or Trent. Gosh! Jason was so swoony and all in from the first meeting. He just knew Rachel was special and really pulled out his A-game to win her over.
There were lots of family time, but I think some of my favorite family-centric scenes were the ones between Jason and Owen, Rachel's "son". I really appreciated the bond that Bybee created between those two, because, for me, it was so important that Jason foster some sort of relationship with Owen in order for his relationship with Rachel to work.
The sources of the drama in this book were interesting. I am not a fan of petty drama between the hero and heroine, so it worked for me that all the sources of drama in this book were really outside of the two.
As far as final books in a series go, we did get a whole bunch of cameos from past couples, and Bybee gave Jason and Rachel an ending that made me shed a few tears. I would have liked to have had an appearance from all our Not Quite couples, but I am not sure how that could have been done.

Overall
Another solid Not Quite romance filled with wonderful characters, a swoony romance, heartwarming family time, and an ending which left me in happy tears.
