There is a lot to enjoy about this book. Narration is great, the cover is cute, the characters and romance are enjoyable enough. Gracie even shares two of my favourite interests (to-do lists and language learning), and it was strangely fun to read about her doing things I also like doing.

But I'm incredibly annoyed that the main conflict hinges on Gracie being stupid, misunderstanding several situations and promptly blocking everyone on her phone so no one has a chance to explain. I can't sympathize with her sulking over imaginary scenarios when the whole thing is so easily resolved!
