Arrghh.

I started out quite liking this book, despite a few odd things. But towards the end I kind of did a complete 180.

I was really upset that the MC got pregnant. Part of that is just a weird "me" thing. I feel like I keep picking up books where the MC ends up pregnant and I'm sick of reading about it. But part of it was also that it kind of forced the couple into being together. I mean, Luca was intending to be with Georgie anyway - sure, but Luca was literally like, "I suppose I've got to marry you now." And while I'm sure that was meant to partially be a joke, I still felt like the rushed their happily ever after because they "had" to. I feel like the whole pregnancy bit was totally unnecessary. -.-

Also, Georgie's behaviour around this pregnancy realization was so annoying, OMG.

"What's concerning is that you think pregnancy is even an option."

And because her sister in law suggested she might be pregnant:
"My brother had married a mental patient, and I thought it was best if we all focused our energy on getting her the help she needed."

She was always a bit sarcastic and over the top - but in a cute way. But here it just skipped cute and went straight to "stupid annoying". Her denial wasn't even funny.

In short:

- It was cute
- Fun to imagine
- The MC could be both funny and annoying
- I didn't like the ending
