This wasn’t the strong Wonder Woman issue, but it was an interesting one at least. They’re clearly setting up for a larger plot, and that takes time.
Things have been changing quite dramatically in Diana’s world as of late. She suddenly has a new roommate, some mythical creatures to keep an eye on, oh yeah, and Nemesis to watch out for as well. So the fact that all of this is merely building to something else is fairly telling of the scale of what is to come.
