Grip delves deeper into Grip's life, but also Bristol's. The story unfolds eight years after Flow, and I just felt so good being with these characters again! I loved Grip and Bristol even more than before. Even if their relationship (or lack thereof) is a tangled mess.
They are both so true to themselves and what they believe in, and I love how they are able to take an honest look at themselves when it comes to the differences in their worlds. And those differences are among the things Bristol wants to fix, and something Grip is ready to fight for.
The writing is like a mix between pose and poetry, and that, the story, the characters, and the social awareness all touched me very deeply.
