I am a huge Addison Moore fan, and was so excited to see she was writing a new series.
This book was a lot of fun, and a walk down memory lane (for me). I really liked the two MCs, Joel and Melissa, and that whole Romeo & Juliet thing was cute too.
This book is set in 1984. I was 12 years old in 1984, and therefore, all the songs and other pop culture references were all part of my own story as well. With that said, there were a few times I think there were too many "product placements", and I was a little put off.
Overall, cute and fun, and a good start to a new series.
