This is a well illustrated collection of 25 short biographies of women from a broad number of backgrounds and areas of expertise including supreme court judges, political activists, athletes, artists, resistance fighters, and more. They are drawn from a number of eras, from Cleopatra to Vice-President elect Kamala Harris and from a wide variety of world cultures. The illustrations are simple but recognizable. There are a number of different illustrators contributing to this collection.

Representation is so important. It's nice to read about these inspiring women (past and present). Worth noting that some of the content contained here was previously published in Good Night Storiesfor Rebel Girls, Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls 2, and Good Night Stories for Rebel
