Rule of Three made me so happy! I generally love love-triangles and wish most of them end up as threesomes, so of course I enjoy menage romances! In this one, Kassidy has just moved in with her boyfriend, Chris, when his college BFF moves back to town. The couple meet up with Dag for dinner, and things get off to a tense start. But after spending a bit more time together, Kassidy can't deny that she's attracted to Dag, even though she is in love with Chris. Then Chris reveals that he likes to watch, and Kassidy's world will never be the same.

I was a bit worried about Rule of Three in the beginning because it suffered from telling rather than showing. For instance, they all have dinner, then later we're told that there was so much sexual tension. Well, I didn't read any sexual tension, just three people sharing a meal and it being a little awkward. But once the three go out dancing, then I felt it! There was tension oozing off of the pages! I also liked that Kassidy was a bit hesitant, but not annoyingly back and forth that it gets dragged out. She just hadn't known about that side of Chris before, so it took her by surprise. A pleasant surprise.

Obviously there is a lot of sex in Rule of Three, but it's not all about the sex. There are feelings! Of course, Chris and Kassidy are in love, and Christ and Dag are friends. Dag and Kassidy get to know each other for Chris' sake, but then they also grow close, and Kassidy gets confused because is she in love with two men? Is that even okay?! There's also this obvious pull between Chris and Dag, and I just kept hoping and praying! I don't want to spoil anything, but I will say that the M/F/M threesome does switch to M/M/F because of reasons! Reasons that made my heart flutter!

I really enjoyed Rule of Three. It was a bit awkward at the start, but soon things just got steamy and heartwarming! I really liked how the author included discussions on how unconventional relationships or sex aren't wrong. If that's what feels right to you, you and your partner(s) enjoy it, and you're not hurting anyone, it's no ones place to judge you for it! I also loved how Kassidy, Chris, and Dag actually talk about how things are going to work between them instead of just jumping into bed for forever sex! They bring up important things just like relationships with only two people.
