Review:

In this sequel to Once In Love With Lily, we find Lily living with Tony, happy and in love.  Unfortunately this does not last long at all, Tony gets some life changing news and the relationship will suffer. Lily has some unresolved issues in regards to her career and her ex-husband has unresolved issues in regards to Lily. All of these things together create quite a drama for Lily. I felt that in this book despite all of the hardships that Lily will go through, she really comes to be the person that she was meant to be. There was a very interesting twist in he story that has to do with the past concerning Lily's accident. I have decided that Lily's ex-husband was my least favorite character in the book, he just kept butting back into her life and by the end of the book I had had quite enough of him! Tony does go through some really tough times and his mother and sister appear on the scene and make him question Lily's loyalty. I think that Tony's mother was high up on my list of annoying characters in this book. I am a sucker for second chance romances so I was rooting for Lily and Tony throughout the book. I had some serious doubts though whether or not they would make it together this time around.

Verdict:

This book , in my opinion, cannot be read as a stand alone. To really get a feel for the characters it is well worth your while to read Once In Love With Lily, which was a great book. Since I love second chance romances and was dying to know what happened to Lily and Tony since the first book, I enjoyed this sequel. The author did a great job with the story line and all of the drama and I do love drama! This review was originally posted on Cindy's Book Binge
