Seventeen-year-old Evie O'Neill is thrilled when she is exiled from small-town Ohio to New York City in 1926, even when a rash of occult-based murders thrusts Evie and her uncle, curator of The Museum of American Folklore, Superstition, and the Occult, into the thick of the investigation.
This has been one of those books that I've had on my literal bookshelve FOREVER. I think I got it when it was released and I kept looking at it, knowing I wanted to read it, but never did.. I knew I would like it, I even got the second book recently to motivate myself haha. But now it has finally happened, and to no surprise.. I loved it.
So much is happening in this novel, so much I am still wondering about a week later. What a great start for a series. And luckily for me, it is now a finished series and I can continue with the others !!
