The more books that I read about Paris, the less I want to visit. I am not into architecture, pastries, or romance at all, so it's likely not my thing. But I loved how Frenched started off with Mia absolutely hating being there! She is just not happy being in the most romantic city in the world, which is how she ends up in a Canadian pub. It's too funny, and made me more interested in her trip. Of course, the sexy bartender also helped.
I loved Mia. She is completely highstrung, but not in an annoying, closed off way. She just knows what she wants from life and has a plan to get there. She has lists for everything, and several are included in Frenched which I thought were great additions. Watching her learn to let loose and deviate from her schedule was really nice. Lucas shows her around the city and makes her more spontaneous. Especially when the sexytimes start! And boy, is there a lot of sexytime!
Frenched was a really great read. I loved Mia and Lucas. I even kind of loved Tucker (the fiance) in a love to hate kind of way; he's just so clueless! I loved seeing a different, less romantic side of Paris. I even didn't get annoyed at the inevitable fight, because it was less of a fight, and more of them discussing their differences and parting, but of course coming back together. It just left me happy.
