Romcom with several laugh out loud moments, as well as some cringe-worthy moments as well. Because, even if Melinda was smart, she also did a lot of weird things. And she had so little self confidence. Until she really met Arlie, that is. Sparks flew between those two from their first meeting, even if Melinda did her best to resist. Or hide under a table when they had a chance meeting... Basing part of the romance on a typical reality TV show, Brooks brought out all the stops. Both when it comes to the romance, and with the humor. I laughed so hard my cheeks hurt, and I still had to continue reading.
