What I enjoy most about this series is the variety of supernatural beings it features. This installment focuses on vampires and witches with characters from the previous Eternal Mates books and also the author’s London Vampire series making an appearance.
In Bewitched by Vampire, we get a sassy kick-ass witch and a swoon worthy vampire. I enjoyed the romance which developed between them. Delightful, passionate and authentic. It had a rocky start as its foundation was built on a bed of secrets.
Night and Lillian shared an intense attraction from their first meeting. Due to the circumstances surrounding her presence at his brother's mansion, Night knew he should stay away from her. He didn’t know she was a witch, and the reason she was staying at his brother’s home was due to her taking part in an undercover mission for her coven. He didn’t particularly like witches, and who could blame him. A witch tried to take his head years ago and since then he's been seeking vengeance. Imagine how betrayed he felt when the truth came to light. Also, the circumstances which led to the revelation and the events which occurred after didn’t help. I loved how it all worked out. They found a common ground and in doing so worked their way back to each other.
Suspense and edge of your seat action added an extra layer of excitement to the story. Earlier I mentioned appearances of characters from the previous books. Their appearance delivered an additional suspense story arc, which involved battling a Demon.
Bewitched by a Vampire is another great addition to the series. It took me on a journey filled with revenge, betrayal, forgiveness and romance. Longtime fans of the series will enjoy this new addition. If you are new to the series, but enjoy paranormal romance, I highly recommend the Eternal Mates. This review was originally posted on Totally Addicted to Reading
