Cocktails and Books received this book for free from Social Butterfly PR in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect our opinion of the book or the content of our review.I love it when the awkward girl gets the hot guy and the premise of I DARE YOU had me intrigued immediately.

I liked the slow building romance between Delaney and Maverick.  Thrown together as roommates, they get to know each other and develop a friendship despite the attraction they have for each other.  With both of them having been burned in their previous relationship, I think they needed to have this friendship to build the trust between them and build their romance from there.

My only issue with the book came with Delaney's "family" issue  It played such a part of why she was at the college and how she came to live with Maverick that I would have expected more for the completion of that storyline.  The one-liner from Maverick didn't give me the closure that I wanted.

A solid story from the author, but not a favorite of mine.
