I was given the book by the author for an honest review.

This book has everything you expect to find in a book centered around teenagers. You have the geeky girl falling for the really cute boy, you have the mean clique girls, and you have the teacher who assigns an impossible project right around a great holiday. What made the book were all the great facts you get to discover along the way as Rowen and Hunter do their research for their English class about how the Sleepy Hallow legend connects to urban legends in their town.

I love that you have Rowen and Hunter experiencing a normal teenage situation, how to move from being childhood friends to maybe something more. What makes the story stand out is Rowen, who is the daughter of the town witch, and how she is coming into her powers, and how Hunter becomes involved in that part of her witch development. This story kept me reading as I really wanted to get to the end where Rowen and Hunter put all the pieces together, from Rowen having visions and what they picked up in their research. It a great book, and I highly recommend it to older teenagers and adults.
