by Cleo Coyle

Love plays a role through all 3 generations in this book. Clare's ex-mother-in-law is having problems with her Dr. boyfriend. Clare's daughter Joy is dating a man old enough to be her father at least. And Clare herself finally starts seeing the man I've been hoping she would since book #1!

With all that said, this is not a romance. The mystery plays out just as well as in the previous books. The romance is just a side-note and helps to make the characters more rounded.

I liked that there were multiple mysteries that all ended up being tied together. And Clare is right in the thick of them as usual. This time Matt actually helps her detective work with only minimal protests.

With high speed car chases, disguises and intrigue, if you haven't read this series yet you are really missing out.

Recipes Included: Coffee Milk, Coffee Syrup The Modern Way, Coffee Syrup The Traditional Way, Italian Sesame Cookies, Carne Con Cafe "Matt's R agout", No Biggee Coffee Cake, PB and Nutella Sandwich, Clare's Cappauccino Muffins, Sweet Frothy Top.
