Coffee Dates with the Troublemaker Next Door

First Date: We meet the McCauley brothers, and it was fun seeing boys being boys. They are close knit, tease each other relentlessly but you know that they have each other’s back. We meet the girls next door. They are successful, independent and close friends. Maddie is having one hell of a day. She dumped her boyfriend, and her boss asked for favors in return for a promotion she deserves on merit alone. She quit her job and comes home to vent to her friend. She does not know that sexy plumber- Flynn is fixing the kitchen sink, and when she sees Mr. sexy, she unleashes her venom for the male species on him. Right away, I am intrigued and curious to see what develops.

Second date: Maddie apologizes and the chemistry between these two is electric. We quickly learn Maddie has some issues in addition to her current unemployment. The two begin to tango, and things get hot from sexy moments in closets to phone sex. While Harte keeps thing’s vanilla, we do get the deets and some seriously hot sexy time. Flynn wants more, but Maddie wants friends with benefits. Or does she really? The romance is hawt and who knew a plumber could be sweet and sexy. We meet the other brothers and their family. I am losing my heart to them. Already I want their stories too. Brody’s son will melt your heart, but the things his uncles teach him. Tsk, tsk. *evil grins* Maddie’s friends are strong, confident and support her without enabling her. I am curious about them and mentally tried to pair them up with the boys next door.

Third date: Ah, I am in love with Flynn! He is so patient, romantic and sweet. He is trying to make their relationship into something more, but ooh Maddie might just muck it all up. I need some chocolate as I watch this all unfold. I need my HEA. Can Maddie figure things out before it is too late? Will their friends and family help or create more drama? Somebody slap some sense into Maddie before it is too late!

The Troublemaker Next Door was a fun, sexy read, and I loved the McCauley brothers. Brody’s tale is next, and Harte has me excited to see how it all turns out. Harte blends sexy, family and small-town feel into this heated adult romance.
