I loved this.
I was mighty confused by Cry Wolf at first. They kept referring to events I didn't know about. I was sure I had the first book of the series, and wondered when—if at all—someone is going to explain what happened before. Then, as I was searching to see if anyone else had been as confused as me, saw someone refer to the prequel. It's annoying that some series have a #0 book, because I'm used for 1 to be… well, the first. I quickly found the book and read it, and then returned to Cry Wolf, feeling like I finally have a clue.
And I loved this short prequel. It added to Anna and Charles's relationship tremendously. It was so cute, and very good.
