Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins

Catching Fire (The Hunger Games, #2)

by Suzanne Collins

Much to her shock, Katniss has fueled an unrest she's afraid she cannot stop. And what scares her more is that she's not entirely convinced she should try. As time draws near for Katniss and Peeta to visit the districts on the Capitol's cruel Victory Tour, the stakes are higher than ever. If they can't prove, without a shadow of a doubt, that they are lost in their love for each other, the consequences will be horrifying.

I was so lucky to have acquired an Adanvced Reader's Copy for Catching Fire. I loved it so much. I couldn't stop reading the moment I opened the book. I honestly thought that the first half of the book was a bit slow but I still enjoyed it nonetheless. I think that my jaw dropped too many times that I could count. There were endless surprises that had me clinging on to every page. I think readers will be very happy with the next book in the series. It's worth the wait - though I'm sure that as soon as you're done with Catching Fire, you'll be counting down the days until the final book in the series. I know that I can hardly wait!
