Will Ben be able to keep the water rights to the Blackwell Family Ranch?

The Rancher’s Redemption by Melinda Curtis is an excellent continuation of the Return of the Blackwell Brothers series. This one is about Ben Blackwell and Rachel Thompson two lawyers from two neighboring ranches. He’s one of the middle Blackwell brothers that had left Falcon Creek, Montana when he was twenty-seven.

Ben Blackwell

The male main character is Ben Blackwell who’s the twin brother to Ethan Blackwell that we met in The Rancher’s Rescue. Ben is the lawyer of the family. He had dealt with a lot of things five years ago when he left Falcon Creek. Ben’s also the one that won the river water right’s case between the Blackwell and Thompson ranches. He is back home again to deal with that same case, but this time he isn’t sure if he wants to stay in Falcon Creek. Despite what he feels for the beautiful Rachel Thompson.

Ben is a great person once he decides to tell the truth about a few things in the past. What I like about Ben is that he’s a great person. Once he makes up his mind, then it's done.

What I don’t like about Ben is that he remembers what his grandfather told him over the years, even though he doesn’t like it.

Rachel Thompson

The female main character is Rachel Thompson who’s the best friend of Zoe Blackwell and Ben Blackwell. Rachel is a single mother, running her ranch, and the only partner of the Falcon Creek law office. She is running herself thin and needs help even if the assistance comes in the form of Ben Blackwell. The Thompson’s and Blackwell’s aren’t very fond of each other.

Rachel’s daughter Poppy is very cute. Poppy is the first person to trust Ben.

What I like about Rachel is that she is a great mother and is trying her hardest to keep her family’s ranch in the family. However, she is struggling a lot.

There isn’t much that I dislike about Rachel except that she lets her mom and grandma walk over her. But then again, they are family and help her with Poppy.

Five Stars

The Rancher’s Redemption by Melinda Curtis is a fabulous story, and I love this book. I hope that everything works out for them and Poppy. Ms. Curtis did a great job with the subplots and creating these two awesome characters. I truly recommend this book along with the others in the series.

Anyways until the next time enjoy this review brought to you by
