A Five-Minute Life

WOW. Scott did it again! She always manages to grab me from the start of a story, fall in love with her characters, and just feel.
Thea's life was rather horrific there for a while, because she was locked inside her own mind. And the only person who thought she understood and realized more than the doctors thought was Jimmy - the new orderly. And the way this story unfolded, from Jimmy's point of view, was spectacular! I finished reading last night, and I still get a little teary-eyed now, when I think of this whole story. It was beautiful, but also a bit hard to read at times. And the writing was perfect.
