Retells the tale of the beautiful princess whose lips were red as blood, skin was as white as snow, and hair was black as ebony.
This award winning picture book version was on a book list. I'm not sure whether it was Seton or MODG. Either way it is beautiful. It is a great choice for a read aloud when you are trying to go from full picture books to text filled books. As almost every other page has only text. The version is pretty good from the brothers Grimm, but it ends rather abruptly.
