Over the Garden Wall Special #1

This Special contains the first five Over the Garden Wall comics, and I'm so glad I ordered this as well as reading the individual comics, because there were little extras I didn't get with the individuals!

Such as alternate covers, a whole chapter I (somehow??) skipped, and sheet music for selected music from the show.

I don't have much else to say about this that I haven't covered in the individual comics, except that of course, this is the best series of graphic novels I have ever read! I can't wait to read more.

Oh! However . . . there is a very disappointing hinted fatphobia in the first comic that blew a lot of the excited wind from my sails. A very plump character always had some piece of food in his hands every panel, no matter where he was or what he was doing. It wasn't funny, and as I said, it was just very . . . disappointing.
