I really thought that I would love this series because it seems that it has all the things that I love in my sci-fi/dystopia reads. I would like to write an exposition about what went wrong with this finale but I just don't have the fucking time right now.

Here's the thing, Champion reminded me of this Korean drama I've watched last year entitled Innocent Man (Nice Guy) whose story revolves around this extremely nice guy named Kang Ma Ru (played by Song Jong Ki). The ending of Champion was so reminiscent of how that drama ended that I was pulling my hair out. Innocent Man was an excellent drama until that ending.

Now, I can only say that Daniel Altan Wing will always be mysterious. No one will ever know Daniel Altan Wing. Fuck that.

This series is just too fucking makjang for my taste. I was surprised that there's no incest, hidden birth stories, and whatever makjang elements you can think of.
