Ohhhhh Rhys, aren't you just full of surprises?  Or maybe, I should say, Ms. Parkerson, aren't you full of surprises?  Once again, she has written another book in the No Rival series full of twists and turns!  I can't say that I was really all that happy with Rhys after his actions in the last book (Undaunted) where Mandy was concerned.

I was kind of shocked by the depth of Rhys's feelings for Mandy.  In this book, he belatedly realizes he was in love with Mandy, just as she has married his brother, Knox.  Rhys treated her like crap and I don't blame her for giving up and moving on to Knox.  But- kudos to Ms. Parkerson for going deeper into Rhys's background and helping me to understand why Rhys has such a hard time with other people loving him.

Asher?  Well hellllooooo Asher.  Hot, Italian, lawyer? Um ok...works for me.  Asher and Rhys together?  That also worked for me and I liked the two of them together!  Asher gave Rhys his complete devotion and they not only worked sexually but they enjoyed just being with each other.  While I appreciated the sexytimes between the two guys, for me it was the connection that Asher and Rhys had with each other outside of the bedroom.  My only complaint was that I felt like I didn't know as much about Asher as I would've liked. Kerry....Kerry and Dane?  WHAT? Married?  I really wanted Dane's story :( But I'm glad he is happy.

I'm still really enjoying this series and I'm looking forward to more.  :)
