...and so it ends.

I can't believe I've finally finished the Rook and Ronin series. So glad that I listened to my friends and gave it a chance. Surprisingly I was not with the masses in having Ford as my favourite, I was Spencer all the way.

There were so many parts to Spencer that I loved. He was tough, smart, good looking and had a heart that stayed true.

Ronnie the Bombshell was a real mixed bag. She was so tough, but yet so vulnerable and she had every reason to be. Her friends kept secrets from her. Her family on one hand expected her to act like one of the boys and the other hand be the protected sister/daughter/granddaughter that listens and follows their rules. The people who were meant to love her the most were hurting her in their actions and words.

I wanted more time seeing Spencer and Ronnie in the present instead of their past. It did help explain how they got to where they are, but I really wanted to see Spencer and the gang apologise to Ronnie for keeping so many secrets.

Great series and will definitely read more from this author.
