OK, I went through a series of different things during this book. confusion, annoyed (with certain characters), a bit more confusion, intrigued. It may have just been me, but there quite a few scenes where I wondering what exactly was going on.

Just a few characters to talk about, but definitely not all of them :

Sarenah - this book was a tad short, so I felt like I couldn't completely settle on how I felt about her. But what I did get was how she was one tough chick that liked bending the rules. She was well known among the heavens.

Draco - & he was well-known in Hell. Definitely someone to be feared. Just like Sarenah, I wasn't able to get a full appreciation of him, but I look forward to learning more about these two in the next book.

Saint - the "only" one that Sarenah is close to (or is she?). It's pretty easy to pick out how close they are, but their feelings don't exactly run the same for each other. He was a protector and would always put Sarenah first.

Tabian - ANNOYING ... I couldn't handle him, I agreed with Sarenah and Saint, he just needed to stop talking. I know he means well as he does seem to be very fond of Sarenah. I know there's more to his story, but I'm assuming it's just not his time yet.

So I'm rating this a 3.5, I did like the story and found it very intriguing. And I do plan on reading the next one in the series. There was a bit of a mystery because I wasn't exactly sure how the ending would turn out, but lets just say it wasn't what I expected. I don't know about you guys, but I wouldn't say this book is easily predictable, which is what I like. I wasn't a fan of all the different point of views, to me, it just clouded a lot of things. And it felt like too much was going on, when you got to see all of the characters thought process. I will say that we do get to know each character a little better and their role in the story. I think this story just needed a little bit more focus on the Draco & Sarenah, and not so much the supporting characters.

Overall, this story intrigued me and I am definitely looking forward to reading more about Draco & Sarenah's story.
