This book was just an okay read for me. I still don't understand why people are so obsessed with this series- it is something I will never understand. I couldn't stand the main female character. Get over yourself already. It almost became unbearable with how selfish she was. The writing is terrible in my opinion. Just the overall writing mechanics are atrocious. The story is pretty typical as well. Nothing about this book is outstanding in anyway. I have all the rest in the series and it doesn't get any better. Typical YA vampire series... not much else to say.
