Annie Aardvark: Adding Ants by Suzie Olsen, illustrated by Davina "Viv" Kinney is the second book about the inquisitive antics of little Annie.  The author's love of science and mathematics inspired her to create Annie and I hope you'll add her to your bookshelf.

Once again we join Annie Aardvark on a counting adventure. Annie the aardvark is a mathematician who loves to count, add and subtract. The Royal and I first met Annie in Annie Aardvark, Mathematician. In this story Annie wakes wondering what she can ADD today and decides use her skills to count ants. Come zig and zag with her and she teaches basic adding skills

The simple illustrations and repetitive words and phrases make this great for early learners and readers. The book takes us on Annie's adventure as she counts ants.  It has vocabulary builder words and simple adding from zero all the way to five plus five.
